The BBC reports on technology giant HP announcing the launch of a 3D printer that is 10 times faster than current models.
As 3D printing comes down in price, it will improve in speed, and quality. It's going to follow a similar trend to mobile phones. The first generation will be large, bulky, slow, expensive, have limited printing materials and few people will own them. But as the technology improves, more and more people will start getting them until there is a 3D printer in every home on the planet, with the ability to print all kinds of objects from furniture, to clothing, and even food.
