How do you analyze comet particles billion of miles from earth?
The BBC have explained how scientists collected dust from a NASA mission called Stardust which launched in 1999 to collect samples of cosmic dust by following a comet, then returning to Earth, allowing scientists to study the particles in a synchrotron.
